Oscars!!!! Birdman de grote winnaar!!

De Grote winnaar van de avond Alejandro González Iñárritu die maar liefst 2 beeldjes in ontvangst mocht nemen voor Birdman(welke uiteindelijk 4 beeldjes won)

De Nominaties zijn bekend en het speculeren kan beginnen. Welke andere awards kunnen als grootste graadmeter dienen? Het antwoord, geen één. Kijk maar naar Argo een paar jaar terug waarbij Ben Affleck bijna alle prijzen pakte voor regie maar uiteindelijk niet eens voor een Oscar genomineerd was. Favorieten zijn er wel natuurlijk zo word Boyhood algemeen getipt als gedoodverfde favoriet voor film en Richard Linklater voor regie. Vergeet J.K. Simmons ook niet die zowat elke award voor beste bijrol heeft gewonnen, maar dat geld ook Eddie Redmayne, Julianne Moore en Patricia Arquette welke de afgelopen maanden zowat alle prijzen binnen hun categoriën gewonnen hebben.

Conclusie:

De Award avond kende eigenlijk maar 1 echte verassing en dat is dat Boyhood op 1 award overal op misgreep en dat het Oscar commité toch koos voor Birdman welke 4 nominaties verzilverd zag worden waaronder de belangrijke voor film en regie. The Grand Budapest Hotel werd ook beloond met 4 beeldjes en The Imitation Game welke bij de Globes nog met lege handen bleef zag nu toch 1 van de 9 nominaties verzilverd worden.
